We can allow our history
To become His-story.

Your history may read like a nightmarish novel
Filled with darkness and pain, that caused you to grovel.

But when the ‘light of the world’
Pierced a hole in the darkness of your night.

When the Love of God flooded your soul
Like a bright morning light.

When God filled you
With the power of His might!

God wrote, “The end” as it were
In the book of your life.

Not, the end of your life,
As in, a natural death.

Rather the end of chapters
filled with sin, shame and strife.

Then God wrote your name
in the Lambs book of Life.

Born again, free from sin
Now a new life can begin.

Chapter one of your new book is about His Story
About God’s grace, God’s mercy and your victory!

Now we testify as we lift our voices high,
God has changed my history to His-story!
